Sho3string has released quite a few ports of different classic arcades already and today they released Gaplus, also known as Galaga 3.

Gaplus is a classic arcade shooter originally released in the 1980s. It invites players to pilot their spacecraft through waves of alien invaders in a dynamic and challenging environment.

In Gaplus you take control of a lone starfighter in a mission to fend off the relentless alien forces. This game builds
upon its predecessors with new mechanics, enemies, and power-ups, offering a fresh yet nostalgic experience for
fans of the series. With enhanced graphics, faster gameplay, and innovative features, Gaplus ensures hours of
thrilling action.

This release is for the MEGA65 R3 and R6 mainboards. As always you will need the original arcade (MAME) files – which is fairly easy to optain with just a Google search. When you have these you just need to run the included PowerShell script to prepare the files for your SD Card.

Note: In this initial version joystick flipping is not working. You have to use port 1 for now until V2.0.1 of the Mister2Mega framework is released.
